Jennifer Purcell, assistant professor of Leadership Studies, and Debbie Smith, interim assistant director of the Michael A. Leven School of Culinary Sustainability and Hospitality and professor of Higher Education, will represent University College and Kennesaw State University at the "Perspectives on Global Issues Workshop - Sustainability" to be held in mid-May at the European Academy of Otzenhausen, Germany.

Workshop participants will participate in an active-learning, globally-focused, inter-cultural, academic-practitioner learning community. Upon their return to KSU, Purcell and Smith will utilize what they learned to create a teaching, service, or scholarship related project.
