Linda Lyons, assistant professor of Education and director of Strategic Initiatives in University College, has been recruited and has accepted and invitation to serve on the dissertation committee of Luiza Augusta da Rocha Moreira, a graduate student at Universidade Salvador (UNIFACS) in Salvador, Brazil.

 

Moreira’s research topic is the University’s Role in Leadership Formation for Regional Development; in her research, Moreira uses the Seven Global Challenges as one of her frameworks for her study. Lyons will be working with Moreira and her committee members via email and Skype sessions.

 

UNIFAC’s doctoral program and the foundation will financially support Linda’s visit to Bahia to attend the defense session in the Fall of 2016.
