More scholarship opportunities available to students participating in hospitality and travel industry management programs

Earlier this month, three Michael A. Leven School of Culinary Sustainability and Hospitality students received scholarships from SKAL International, and the organization is eager to give more to our deserving students.
The Atlanta Chapter of SKAL International is offering financial scholarships to qualified students (21 to 29 years of age) who are enrolled in an Associate or four-year degree program in the Hospitality and Travel Industry at an accredited college or university.
The scholarships range from $500.00 to $2,000.00. All awarded funds are applied to the student’s tuition costs. The SKAL Student Scholarship also includes membership in the Chapter’s Young SKAL program (valued at $100.00).
SKAL Internationa is an organization of world tourism leaders whose mission is promoting global
tourism and friendship. It is the only international group uniting all branches of the travel and
tourism industry. Its members, industry managers and executives, meet at local, national,
regional and international venues, to discuss topics of common interest.
SKAL International has approximately 22,000 members in 500 Clubs throughout 90 nations. The Atlanta
SKAL Chapter, established in 1955, currently has 75 local members.
