Thomas Yannuzzi, executive director of the Center for Student Leadership, was elected Chair-Elect of the Leadership Education Membership Interest Group (LEMIG) for the International Leadership Association (International Longshoremen’s Association).  

 

As Chair-Elect, Yannuzzi will serve a 3-year commitment and will be responsible for helping to coordinate and prepare for the Atlanta conference November 2016. “I will be Chair of the LEMIG for the 2017 year and responsible for the conference planned for Belgium,” said Yannuzzi, who will then serve as Past Chair for the 2018 conference.  

 

International Longshoremen’s Association is the global network for all those who practice, study and teach leadership. The organization promotes a deeper understanding of leadership knowledge and practices for the greater good of individuals and communities worldwide.

 

Yannuzzi hopes to coordinate work with Leadership and Integrative Studies faculty and staff to create more of a presence for KSU at the International Longshoremen’s Association conferences.
