Ruth Goldfine, interim associate dean of University College and professor of English, Natasha Habers, interim chair of First-Year and Transition Studies Deborah Mixson-Brookshire, assistant dean of University College and associate professor of management, and Nirmal Trivedi, director of First-Year Seminars and assistant professor of English have had their manuscript, "Bridge to Success: KSU’s Summer Bridge Program to Serve a Target Population," accepted for publication in E-Source for College Transitions, an online peer-reviewed journal published by the National Resource Center for the First-Year Experience and Students in Transition. 

 

The article, which describes KSU's Bridge to Success (B2S) program and reports the findings of their research exploring the impact of the program, is slated for publication in 2017. It includes a discussion of the rationale for the program's development, the key strategies that have been implemented to foster student success, and program assessment data.
