Jennifer Purcell, assistant professor of Leadership Studies, has partnered with the Office of Community Engagement to work with a graduate research assistant on a study involving "boundary spanning leaders" embedded in KSU. These graduate research assistants are working to advance community engagement initiatives--many which mirror some of University College’s core values (student-centered, scholarly pursuits, leadership and community engagement).  

 

"Our research collaboration reflects personal and institutional commitments to expanding, deepening and integrating community-engaged practices into the teaching and learning work of the University while also advancing the scholarship of community engagement,"  said Purcell.
